I have an issue with Panasonic SA-HT545 Surround sound system which is part of my AV setup (Sharp Aquos
LC42XD1E, Sky HD, Panasonic DMR-EX85 and the above, just used for the
audio capabilities not for video.)
Due to the room size, shape and doors I have to have the remote wireless speakers quite a long way behind the seating position to be able to string the cable between the two satellites from the rear wireless amp/receiver.
This distance means I can hardly hear the speakers so my question is does anyone know if there is a way to increase the rear speaker volume? I have RTFM'd and been through all the on screen menus but cannot find anything.

I have a similar unit about 18 months old...just wouldn't start and gave me the F61 code. I opened it up and found that the fan on the back was not running properly...the fan's circuit feeds back info to the cpu that it is running...when not it shuts the system down. I powered the fan externally with a 20v power source and ran it for a while off the red and black wires (the yellow wire must be the feedback)and re-installed it. All is working fine...but I'll go out and buy a new FAN.

Had the same problem. Found that the code refers to the cooling fan. Could be that the fan is dusty or not running when the system starts up. I removed the fan with the two screws and reseated the plug. Make certain that the short, black wire (that seems to go to nothing) is securing the plug to the board.
