The McCulloch ProMac 600 series (610/650) doesn't recommend a saw chain replacement part because you can get differently-sized bars for it. This one came with a 20" bar.
According to an Amazon.com search tonight, the Oregon company makes a replacement part stock number D70. I have got an Oregon H78 replacement chain at my hardware store and it's a hair too small. Not all 20" saw chains are created equal!!

How do I replace a pull cord for pm 605 mcculloch chainsaw?

First remove the pull starter housing.
The next part is tricky. You'll have to release and unwind the spring that rewinds the pull starter cord. Remember how you do this because after replacing the cord, you'll have to rewind the cord and spring before inserting it back in the housing.
re-attach the pull cord housing to the chain saw.
Hope this helps.

Mcculloch chain saw,pro-mac 610, with electronic ignition, no spark at plug

If there is no spark with a new plug, and the earth cut out wire not connected, then it will require a new ignition unit, the old unit is not servicable.

I have an older McCulloch chain saw- Pro Mac 610. When using the saw the chain will get very tight. If I adjust the chain to the proper tension, make a couple of cuts the chain loosens and must be...

The main reason for a chain to tighten is because it is not getting enough oil to the bar, or too thin an oil is being used, you should see a good spray of oil off the end of the bar when held against a tree stump, if not try adjusting the flow if it has an adjuster.

A McCulloch 11-600041-02 example follows (may not be your saw):
The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best; components are listed but may be on different illustrations.

If you want to try a different 610 print try here (many prefixes and suffixes for the 610):

This may help fill in a few blanks. The video explains how to put hose in the tank without taking it apart.

The IPLs I’ve found for your saw don't show this detail. I suggest you try here:

There is a McCulloch thread. Your saw is held in high regard. I’m quite sure some of the members will be willing to post some close up photos of the set up on their saws. HTH
