Problem for Nokia 6600
NOKIA 6600 turns off by itself
problem of my nokia 6600.when i turn on the power on button,the screen display the "NOKIA" within a sec. then it stays there while its booting up.when the main screen has displayed the main menu, it will stay there for say...i minute. then it automatically TURNS OFF.( no power )without touching any keys. why it turn off by itself?? the battery is fullu charged.in some occasion, while in the main menu, it will revert back to "NOKIA" display or sometimes it turns off by it self.
please me out on this..any idea why my cellphone behave this way??

- My wife's new 6600 Slide turns itself off after about 30 minutes of inactivity. To reboot it I have to take the battery out and reinsert, or charge it (even though the battery is fully charged). Any know how to fix it ? Thinking of sending it back. - daniel391Oct 30, 2008

- My name is Yusuf Musa and am a NIGERIAN, i installed so many applications on my "NOKIA 6600" and i have been using them for quit some days like 3-5 days.one day i was operating my phone and it just powerd itself OFF i tried to put it on and it just displays a (WHITE EMPTY SCREEN) so i removed the memory card and the battry for like 12 HOURS so when fixed back the battry and put it on it delays for like 1 minuit before booting and after it might have displays the main screen somtimes it stays 2mins & some 5mins it goes OFF AGAIN all this hapens without memory card. and one more thing is this when powerd OFF on charging it usualy displays "app close main" I HAVE TRIED MASTER RESET *#7370# WETHER IT WILL HELP ME AND I ALSO INSTALL MCAFE ATIVIRUS BUT NITHER. try it with the 3key format trick. if your phone shuts off for 30 seconds the UEM is the faulty part.

Sir, I have Nokia 66000 which i purchased 3 years ago, still now i didnt had any problem, now ia have a problem in my handset, after recharging full it shows the battery is full, after if i attend a call suddenly it shows battery low & gets off, even i changed new battery & also master reseted, still the problem persist, please tell me solution what to do, what might be the problem.

With something like that The connection from the screen to the keypad is slightly loose I would have someone experienced in cell phones open it up and check that connection. Just one note for everyone Every cell phone is different and I would not just tear into one unless you fully understood how they work. For the most part if you are having problems with LCD screens or something like that it's for the best to just get a new phone.

Guys, I think it all probs with the memory card...........
I have also the same prob from yesterday...
You can't believe ..... I was at my workplace ..then suddenly I got a alert that you are receiving a message (as same as we receive via bluetooth, but I was switched off blue tooth that time connection I know very well) I received a sis file .....and without any thinking I installed that on my phone .........and my mobile switched off...automatically .........after that I tried very much but not of work...........
then I formatted Phone memory......then it is OK...but whenever i switched off and try to on, it takes 3-4 times....and after that I saw automatically a message pops up at outbox, GPRS connection activated.....WHAT KIND OF VIRUS IT IS......????
When I tried that without Memory Card it OK , switched on in 1st try........
So friend don't accept any NON IDENTICAL files .....!!!!!

maybe it has a virus! i experience that too! when it scanned on a computer it detected a virus!
