Question about SmartDisk USBFLB80 80 GB Hard Drive
Dear Folks, Using crssupport.com/zio_corp i talked with Justin on 01.15.1007, message ID=32420,ideleted the partition for the dvice. I have been unable to get my computer to recognize the USB Mass Storage device ever since. Can you help? Chris Tough
Chris, There is software available that can try to find and restore "deleted" partitions if you had import information you needed to try to retrieve. If the "delete" was on purpose and you wanted to start over....ooops. You'll need to re-partition and re-format the drive. You should check with the hard drive manufactuer(maxtor?, seagate?,western digital?) and download the "tools" they offer to check the disk. You may be able to recover using a program from the disk manufactuering. Let me know what happens. Good Luck, Tim
