Glass turntable Where would I likely get a replacement turntable for a Panasonic MW model @ NN-H665 WF ?? Thanks

I would keep the items in. Usually, oil is sprayed on which can cover anything that is in oven at that production step. Won't hurt anything one way or the other.

The first thing I would check is the couplet.

Remove the glass tray and pull the couplet up. Check it for any cracks.

If the couplet is fine then the turntable motor has to be replaced.

It can be easy replaced after the bottom panel removed - just two screws and the wire plug.

If you are talking about the turntable with the glass plate that is not working. It is caused by a defective turntable motor, the only solution is to have it replaced, but considering prices as they are probably better to replace the microwave oven.

there is a switch to turn it on or off. the turntable is replaceable

Remove the glass turntable, then the roller ring. Then seta glas of water in the unit and turn it on for 5 to 10 seconds. Look through the door window and see if the drive hub is rotating. If it is, then check the underside of the glass table to match up the drive hub. If it isn't turming, the drive, then it is internal and should have a 1 yr warrantee minimum. Remember, the, the turntable and drive must engage each other and the roller ring in place. Good Luck, and let me know please. These are the glass trays listed to match the models you gave (NR961T is actually MR961T) and they are all shown as no longer available from standard suppliers:

MW-7600-04 MW-7600-06 MW-7600-11 MW-7600-13. MW-7600-12 should also work.

You can order one of the -11 or -12 trays by part number here.

It may take a week or two, and they may reply back that they were unable to find one, in which case they will not charge you.

If you can't find one, you can check eBay or Wal-Mart and other stores to see if they have a Rubbermaid or Nordic Ware (NordicWare) wind-up turntable like this "Micro-Go-Round". (I've seen them at Wal-Mart).

In some cases, two microwave-safe plates can serve as a makeshift replacement for a missing tray. You have to find a saucer that fits securely on your turntable support, though. Here;'s a photo of that, too.
