Yamaha home theatre system RXV 350 amplifier

Check it without speaker connection. If the set does not go to protection mode, check all the speakers by connecting one by one at a time and switch the set ON; to find the faulty speaker. If the set goes to protection mode even no speaker connected, check and replace damaged components at its audio output section circuit. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. The keys on my CPL130 piano are intermittently failing to sound the c's and f sharps. All the other notes appear to be OK. what could be the problem and what might be the remedy. Have had the piano for...

well..that is caused by one of three things

a. the sound board(really a digital one) could have some glitches on those keys.

b. the tone recognition firmware, which looks for particular 'keys' may need to be revised and updated

c. is it the case that all 'C' and F# are bad, then it's most likely digital and not mechanical..

please confirm actual failure mode..

Hey i got a tickin in the top end of my yamaha big bear 350 and trying to troubleshoot what it is any tips?

Are you in the right section...this is for amplifiers.
If you have an ATV or something - well, make sure it has enough oil because the cams will click if there isn't enough oil to adjust cam shaft gap - and make sure the spark plugs are tight - they can get loose and make a clicking sound.
Besides that, I am at a loss...come back when your Yamaha stereo is messed up!

Power does not come on after lightning strike

Check your wall outlets and see if you blew a breaker.(plug something else there and see if it powers that on) If not that I hope you only blew the fuse inside of the receiver. That would be an easy fix. Hope this helps!

Clavinova electric piano keys easily stuck and slow to raise on it's own after pressing a note. How can I fix it myself? Thanks, Marcel

by any chane a liquid has spilled over your keyboard? it's kinda hard to dismantle that keyboard. but it can be done. i wonder only how it could get sticky as you described. i am from yamaha service before and i have seen the mechanicsm of clavinova, it should not go like that except if you had spilled something on it.

Yamaha reciever rx-v363

Thats because if you look in the owner's manual, it declares the fact that it will only broadcast sound from hdmi to monitor not speakers. For sound out of speakers need to connect additional audio cable.

Yamaha HTR-5240 Receiver channels are mixed up

Sounds like your input switching IC is bad. THis is a shop job, major solder work and most likely a parts order. All the inputs tie into 1 intergrated circuit"ic" and the microprocessor see the signals and switches the output on this IC when you change inputs and when this IC goes bad you can have an outward symptom of not switching, only 1 input works or 2 or more inputs on at the same time. If this receiver cost several hundred dollars it's worth repair if less expensive unit you may want to look around for a new unit
