How can I fix a yamaha clavinova clp-152s that no longer produces a clean sound? The tones sound muffled to some degree.

It could have a capacitor failing in the amplifier section, or primary oscillator section. it might also be a failing output transistor on the amplifier. If the amplifier has gotten noiseir, suspect a faulty transistor.

My Yamaha Clavinova CLP-350 lost all sound. Prior to this, middle C started to have a tin-like sound. I live in South Central PA and can't even locate someone who repairs Yamaha keyboards within 50...

Here is service manual for CLP380 which should be close to your unit.

Scroll down to get manual and click on it to download. Ignore other download links.

First thing check your power supply voltages.

Our Yamaha clavinova CLP-115 is buzzing, even with

Without power to the unit no sound should be generated. Make sure there are no other connections.

MAYBE you have a wall transformer behind it that is buzzing. MANY wall transformers develop buzz.

Another source is flourescent lights and even some of the low voltage halogens have noisy transformers in the base.

Yamaha clavinova clp 200 - ear phone jack slid

The control panel hinges upwards and you have to move the keybed back a bit to get at the jack. All the screws on the bottom for the keybed. I'm not sure where the ones for the control panel are.

A contact rubber for CVP-35, part number VS549800 will work, that's how I fixed my sensor problems on my CLP-360.

Yamaha Clavinova CLP 260

hi...
Your L/R jacks in the back need to connect to the "line-in" connector on your sound card.
I think the jacks on the Clav are 1/4 inch. Go to Radio shack and ask for an adapter that will take two 1/4 inch plugs/cable and convert it to a 1/8 inch stereo plug.
The Midi connects From (keyboard) To (soundcard)
Cables are available at any music store

Yamaha clavinova won't play C natural in any octave

Hi ...
There are flexible cables that connect the keys to the main electronics. The connectors for those cables sometimes age poorly..
It is fixable. But dont "get taken" on a repair.
If it's just resoldering a few points,it shouldnt be more than $100.00
to fix
