Like its predecessors such as the J6200 and the J6300, this model offers the same LCD flat screen panel for a crystal-clear viewing experience. However, there are several variants in the features for the JU6400 that will make it a worthwhile upgrade from the traditional Full HDTV. 4K Ultra HD resolution is offered on every TV in this series which provides the best possible resolution available today. Other new additions include the Micro Dimming Pro feature which allows the TV to fine tune the image by adjusting the cells in the LCD display. This provides the viewer with perfect lightness and darkness levels on the screen for a true-to-life image.

The Smart TV platform for the JU6400 series is powered by the Tizen operating system. This new update for 2015 provides owners with a complete overhaul from the previous Samsung Smart TV interface. New features include the full Samsung App store that offers access to today's hottest applications such as Facebook, Amazon Prime and Netflix. The menu and browsing options are also much easier to access and use than those offered on previous Smart TV models.

While the Samsung JU6400 is an exceptional option for anyone who wants to purchase a model with better resolution and more futuristic features, it does not include some of the latest features offered by the brand. Innovative extras such as the Smart Control remote and the new Curved screen design are not offered in this particular series. 8.0Great

The Samsung JU6400 Series has a lot to offer all types of TV viewers. It is the ideal upgrade for those who are new to Smart TV features and provides a crystal clear image with 4K UHD resolution making it perfect for those who enjoy watching high-definition movies and live events. While you can expect to receive many high-quality features with this higher-end TV model, consumers should be aware of the fact that some of the most recent extras currently available on newer Samsung TV models are not offered on TVs available through this series. Yet for the avid viewer who simply wants a good upgrade, this TV is an excellent choice. I hope this helps answer your question Evgeny.

I bought a Sanyo DP46849, lcd tv, 1080. and I'm getting a fuzzy picture. It helps when i put my cable receiver on hd channels, but even my blu-ray looks better on my 720 plasma???? any suggestions, I...

I gather from the information given that you are getting the proper signal from the cable receiver but there may be a settings issue with the LCD TV. If the 720 plasma is giving good performance then it has to be settings on the lcd .
I would review the instruction manual to see if you have over look something that is a proper cable select ( hdmi or vga).
If you have selected vga you will not get a clear picture in that mode. HDMI is High definition which works properly with 1080P mode. If you have further issue the manufacturer troubleshooting or Knowledge base will give answers also.
1. check your HDMI cables make sure they are properly seated in the input ports
squarely not at an angle.
2. If you are using a cable receiver check the connection there. Make sure you have the proper cable for your receiver to the TV
3.check channel to see if you TV is selected for channel 3 or 4 as recommend in the instruction manual
4. check the V-chip setup it may be blocking certain channels
5. check you picture modes each channel can have desire picture setup modes.
6. If you are using rca cables you may not get the proper picture as you would with HDMI cable that are specially designed for High Definition TV

Grainy picture

Greetings israelmaker,

In order to receive true high definition television, you will need a high definition cable box. Basic channels are going to look more grainy and not as clear overall even with an HD box, however you won't be able to view or decode the actual HD channels without a box.

In addtion, what type of cables are you using to hook up your existing box? This can have a substantial impact on the picture you see.

I hope some of this helps.

CLEAR PICTURE ON MY 42

Dear LADY DAWN,

In order to get true high definition quality, you would want a high definition source. There really is not much else you can add to make your picture clearer, provided you have it hooked up with the best type of cables possible.

Sincerely,

Dorothy

Brightness keeps shifting on Samsung 46" 7 Series 750

I just purchased Samsung series 4 LCD TV yesterday. I had the same problem since my salesman was a kind of stupid. He set the 'Power save mode' to automatic. After fiddle with my TV for a while, I found the solution.
Just change the 'Power save mode' to off, low, normal or high. My LCD TV stopped shifting its brightness.

Picture problems

Hi,

The pixelation is probably caused by MPEG2 compression on the DVD and Virgin media video streams, the blur is probably caused becasue you are displaying a standard definition signal on a high definition TV.

However if a high-def source still has these problems then you may have a faulty TV, your best bet is too hook up a high-def source such as a HD/Blu-ray player or PS3/360 games console.

Should a high-def source look ok, then you may have some look changing the display settings on the TV to try and improve picture sharpness and color balance.

Thanks.
