Question about Sony VAIO VGN-N250N/B Notebook
Sounds like you have either a virus or malware affecting your PC - first run scandisk to make sure there are no physical problems with the disk - then download an anti-malware package like spybot S&D - this is free and you may be surprised what it finds on your system!
once this is done try defragging again -alternatively - convert your HD to NTFS and this will not only speed it up but reduce the need to defrag dramatically
hope this helps 8)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
