Lamp problem? Hi, I already replace the lamp on this projector, the projector turns on but not the lamp... is it possible that the lamp replacement is damaged?, when you replace a lamp on this projector, you should do something or just plug in the new lamp?. Thank you in advance.

The problem could be related to a fan or heat sensor. The lamp could be faulty but new lamps tend to be pretty good as far as reliability. Just make sure the lamp is sititng absoultely firmly in the correct position...normally you would plug in and switch on. Regards Kevin Andreassend

Turns on and calls for replace lamp, I already did it and still calling for replace lamp. Fan turns on and that's it power and lamp lights are on thanks

Projectors keep a lamp life clock to track the age of a bulb. The clock needs to be reset with each bulb that is inserted. Here are the steps with your particular projector:

    1)Power on projector
    2) Go to "menu"
    3) Choose "Options"
    4) Choose "Lamp Settings"
    5) Choose "Lamp Reset"
    6) Select Yes

Certain models require you to hold "Lamp Reset" for a particular amount of time. It could be instantly, 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds... Just have to play until it responds.

Once that is reset you should be good.

I have a model and swapped the T45U projector lamp, the projector turns on, but in a few seconds it shuts off, and turns on the LED "Temp" what can this be?

First of all check the lamp hour . Reset the lamp hour and try again. It is recommended that reset lamp hour only after replacing the lamp. No matter, just reset the lamp hour. If problem doen't repeat the try to replace lamp.
Another possible problem is the faulty lamp cooling fan. Check the lamp cooling fan of your projector. maybe its has some problem.Do one thing, Remove the fan from the projector. In the fan there will be a specification sticker. Remove the sicker. now u can see a hole in the center. its the bearing part of the fan. put one drop of oil in it. u can use any type of lubricating oil. rotate the fan leafs with finger for some time. after that re-stick the spec sticker. insert the fan in the projector.

Nec vt470 lamp does not come on. replace lamp, when turned on status light turns red and get 3 beeps. lamp does not come on.

If you replaced the lamp already, chances are the ballast is defective. When you power on the projector with the power button you should see a flicker of light in the lens, or an electrical sound. If you don't you ballast is bad.
