Question about Computers & Internet
There are some specialized message boards for exactly your problem ... but please allow me to suggest two free and capable pieces of software.
Download Spybot S&D (Search and Destroy). It's here -- you'll have to scroll down about one page to see the download link.
Install it, update it, run it. It'll likely take ... oh, about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your computer. Don't panic if it points out lots of browser cookies -- you're just interested in the serious stuff.
Also download this, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:
Install, update, run the quick scan (maybe 5-10 minutes).
Between the two of them, they should get rid of most stuff. Reboot. Run both scans again. You may find other pieces. Reboot. Run S&D again, then run Malwarebytes with a full scan, which will take hours.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
