Question about Mitsubishi WD-52725 52". Rear Projection HDTV
I have a MItsubishe DLP model WD-62927 and during the last 2 weeks a massage comes on the screen that TV will shut down soon to check ventilation. There is no blockage to ventilation and TV does turn off, LED turns amber and remains that way for approximately 15 minutes, after that TV will turn on again TV goes on green light stays on no video about 10 seconds then goes to red lamp light
Mitsubishi has problems with the thermal sensor going bad. They extended the warranty for several sets. The sensor is right by the lamp. Call mitsubishi and insist they do something for you. If you keep playing your set, the bulb could also be at risk. I would think your set is covered being a 62" set. Good-luck and be sure to act ASAP.
