Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
I have replaced the coupler and now i am checking the gear box. How do i get the gear box off?
Here are some reasons for not spinning
It does not have to be a motor!
Defective Lid Switch
Check lid switch for proper operation. Check the switch for continuity. If it is found to be open, replace the switch assembly.
Water Level Switch
If the water level switch is not resetting once the water is drain, power will not be available to operate the motor during spin. Check the water level switch for proper operation.
Whirlpool/Kenmore- Weak Clutch Spring
If the clutch is slipping the spring is weak and must be replaced.
