You might have the blower wired incorrectly or a bad blower. Also make sure the hose is connected to the blower and pressure switch.

Rinnai R85 starts to warm then stops and blinks 61??

I went to the Rinnai website and this is what I found for error code 61.
Error Code 61 Problem: Fan failure
Solution: Measure the resistance on the fan motor, check the damaged or loose wiring and connections. Make sure that the fan spins freely.
Sounds like either your fan is broken or something is keeping it from spinning freely.
Hope this helps.

I have a lennox ac unit model M/n hs 29-029-2p S/n 5802g 11144 the fan just stop working and the motor was making a noise like it was humming plus no cold air was coming through our house we purchased it...

The fan stopped working and the compressor overheated due to this. Turn the disconnect (switch by outside unit off) and let cool.

Try spinning the fan by hand. If it moves freely replace the capacitor, if not replace the motor.

Heater fan in 1991 Pontiac sunbird stopped working. We have replaced fuses, and the fan motor. Still not working, continues to blow the fuses. What to do?

Replace the blower motor resistor assembly. To locate the electrical connector for the blower motor resister, it is usually attached to a heating or air conditioning Duct, or the blower motor case. You can also trace the Purple Wire from the blower motor back to the resister. Also make sure that the blower fan is not jamed up with somthing in side and will spin freely,or binding same thing, this will also cause the fuse to blow right away. And does the motor actually spin a bit before it blows the fuse or does it blow the fuse at the same time the switch is turned on? Good Luck and have a good XMASS.

Code f50 is what?

The F50 error code indicates that the RPS (rotor position sensor) detects no motor rotation. Check to see if the basket spins freely. If not, you could have an item caught between the outer tub and the inner spin basket. A toy or other item underneath the washer could also prevent the basket from spinning and would result in this F50 code.

If the basket spins freely, you could have a wiring failure that would prevent the motor from spinning.

Motor Circuit
This test checks the wiring to the motor and rotor position sensor; and the motor and rotor position sensor themselves. NOTE: Drain water from tub.
1. See Activation of Manual Diagnostic Test Mode, and check the motor and electrical connections by performing the Agitate and Spin tests under Manual: Motor. The following steps assumes that this stepfailed.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check to see if basket will turn freely. If basket turns freely, go to step 4. If basket does not turn freely, determine what is causing the mechanical
friction or lock up.
4. Remove the console to access the machine/ motor control assembly. See Accessing& Removing the Electronic Assemblies.
5. Visually check that the P5 and P10 connectors are inserted all the way into the machine/motor control. If visual checks pass, go to step 6.
If visual checks fail, reconnect P5 and P10 and repeat step 1.
6. With an ohmmeter, check for 16 ohms resistance at the P5 connector between pins P5-1 and P5-2, and also between pins P5-1 and P5-3. Also measure the resistance at the P10 connector between pins P10-1 and P10-7 and verify that the resistance is within the range shown in the wiring diagram on page 7-1.
If the resistance is correct, go to step 11. If the P5 connector resistance is much higher than 16 ohms, or the P10 connector resistance is out of range, go to
step 7.
7. Tilt machine forward to access the bottom of the machine and the drive motor area. See Figure 1 on page 6-13. Remove the motor bolt, then the motor cover to access the motor connections. See Figure 2 on page 6-13.
8. Visually check the mounting bracket and electrical connections to the motor and rotor position sensor board. If visual check passes, go to step 9.
If visual check fails, reconnect the electrical connections, reassemble stator and motor cover and repeat step 1.
9. With an ohmmeter, check for continuity between all pins on the P10 machine/motor control connector and the motor rotor position sensor (RPS) connector. See Figures 2 and 4, pages 6-13 and 6-16. If there is continuity, go to step 11. If there is no continuity, replace the lower machine harness.
10. With an ohmmeter, check for continuity between all pins on the P5 machine/motor control connector and the drive motor connector. If there is continuity, replace the drive motor. If there is no continuity, replace the lower machine harness.
11. The drive motor and lower harness are good. Replace the motor RPS board and perform the Diagnostics test in step 1 to verify repair.
12. If the Diagnostics motor test in step 1 failed, then the machine/motor control has failed: Unplug the washer or disconnect power. Replace the machine/motor control assembly. Perform the Motor Diagnostics in step 1 to verify repair.

My fan stop working the blades are not turning and all it does it's a noise but it don't spin

Is this your indoor fan (this isn't a window unit is it)? Turn the power off and make sure the fan spins freely by hand. If it does then check the capacitor for the fan. If it doesn't spin freely then you may need a new fan motor.

Outside fan wants to start, but stops after 5 secs or so.

Turn off all power. Pull the cover off and lay it upside down so that you can reach the fan. Then turn the unit on and try spinning the fan blade with your hand while it trys to turn and makes the noise you observed. If it is seizing up or very difficult to turn by hand, the bearings are bad on your motor and the motor will need to be replaced. You might be able to lubricate the motor and buy a little bit of time but expect to have problems in the near future.
IF the motor does not seize up and starts spinning without resistance and runs for several minutes or so, you may have a failed capacitor.

1999 Hyundai accent.the radiator fan is working intermitent.it suposse to turn on and off to keep normal temperature. but the fan dont turn on many ocasion geting motor hot. help Thanks

Spin the fan motor (when cold and engine off) and listen for bearing noises or quick stopping. Check the electrical wiring--especially the local grounding point. Check the fan fuse and relay for looseness in their sockets. Make sure the electrical connection at the thermal sensor is tight and free of corrosion. Hope this helps find your problem.

After about 5 minutes the unit stops working. No sound or even a fan noise. I just cleaned the filter to see if that helps, but it didn't.

Is the fan running and stopping before the unit completely quits?
If the fan quits the compressor won't run very long.
I would start with the fan motor or capacitor.
Shut the power off to the unit, spin the blower wheel to see if it spins freely. If it doesn't spin freely, (there appears to be a little drag when you spin it),the bearings are bad, if it does spin freely, then try moving the motor shaft from side to side if there’s any play in the shaft side to side then the bearings are worn and motor needs replaced. Then, check the capacitor, if it’s bulging even slightly, the capacitor is bad and needs replaced. Most of the time people replace the capacitor if motor seems ok. If capacitor is ok, turn power on to see if the motor is getting the proper voltage, if it is and not trying to run, then the windings are probably open, the motor's bad and needs replaced.

The fan won't turn on one of my HWF05XC5's

unplug unit, remove the screws that hold on the front cover, pull off front cover and try to spin fan by hand. it should spin freely and feel smooth and take a while to stop; it should not have any play or feel rough, or stop suddenly. if any of the above problems are observed, the fan motor is bad if the compressor comes on but the fan does not. if the fan spins freely but just does not come on (and compressor does) it could also be a wiring issue. if you have no compressor or fan action, try another outlet and check to see if the breaker at the end of the cord is set to "on".

Fan

Test the motor fan - unplug the oven, wait 5 minutes and discharge the capacitor. remove the oven housing.  First check for any obstructions that may be preventing the fan from rotating.  Turn the blades by hand: if they don't move easily, disconnect the wires from the motor and take out the motor for cleaning and lubrication.  if the fan blades move freely, check for a burning smell and examine the motor windings for discoloration.  If a wire is loose or broken, repair the wire connection.  To test the motor for less visible damage, set a multitester to test resistance.  the motor should have low resistance.  If not, replace it.
