Question about Dishwashers
Problem was the live side contact on the door switch, with the door shut the neutral side (white wires) were shorted but the live side (black wires) were open. I removed the complete module and discovered that the actual contacts were removable, lift a single catch and slide out. Contacts were cleaned with abrasive and now all is OK. However, this is a short term fix only, already damaged contacts will continue to degrade and give trouble. Does anybody know if the contacts can be purchased or do you have to buy the complete door latch module?
