J4500 series is not wireless capable. However, you can use an HP wireless print server and to make it wireless.

Take the cartridge out and clean the contacts off with something (ie: pencil eraser, your thumb...) That worked for me! I couldn't find a solution anywhere even after chatting with online tech support from HP. Quick and painless! I hope this helps...

You can install the printer software both either using the cd software that is included in the package or you can download the software www.hp.com/support. Make sure that you are installing the correct printer operating software. instead of doing a recommended installation choose advance install and uncheck the software that you think that is not needed by you. hp solution center is an important software. also the hp imaging device. but before you proceed in installing make sure that your anti-virus, firewall, spyware are turned off. There are times that the printer software function will not work because it is being blocked by the firewall, spyware and anti-virus. enjoy installing the printer.

Tips for a great answer:
A flashing exclamation mark is typically associated with a sever cartridge error (i.e. "refer to documentation" / "incompatible cartridges", "print
cartridge(s) problem" etc.) typically indicates the internal micro-electronics
of the HP #901 / 901XL cartridge are damaged. Have you tried replacing the ink cartridge with a new HP genuine cartridge to confirm?
NOTE: The cartridge's electrical wire
runs at rear and lower side of the ink cartridge are very delicate and are somewhat
susceptible to ink attack over time, which can lead to premature failures. In
addition, the older the cartridge the higher the chance of an internal
electrical failure. I suggest you first run a 'Tap 41' diagnostic test to
check cartridges electrical health (this is a forced test); you may also bypass
the error (temporarily) on all models which use HP 901 cartridges. Refer to
