-   I have a Euro Pro Convection Toaster Oven -- Model T0161 -- The bottom Timer Knob has broken and I need a replacement.
You *can* order parts from the manufacturer directly, but good luck
with that. The first time I called, and mind you their 1-800 # is a
quagmire of numeric menu selections before you ever get to talk to
someone, they said they would be happy to send me one but they were
out/backordered and that I should call back in 2 weeks. Instead of
putting me on some kind of list and sending me one when they got
more...Grrr! Then I tried calling back and made it, again, through the
menu maze only to find out they are in Eastern time. Super
frustrating!
But I also discovered that the flat head screwdriver is the best
temporary solution until I can get my hands on a replacement knob!

- Postscript...I called Oster again today and they told me that I could not get a knob since that model is obsolete. But if I fax them my receipt, they will send me a newer model toaster oven. Note: the toaster oven must be less than a year old as verified by either the numbers on the prong of the plug or by your receipt. Good luck.
If anyone else wants to call Oster...the number is 800-334-0759 and dial menu numbers 1, 5, 6, 3 to get to the person who can help you with the toaster oven.
I had the same problem with my Oster 6071 timer knob breaking off. My ghetto solution is to insert a flathead screwdriver in the **** of the metal rod that the plastic knob was attached to; you can rotate the rod to turn the oven on (must turn past 20 min) then use an alternative timer source (like a microwave) so you don't burn your food. Not sure how good this solution would work for the Temperature knob but it'd probably work for the Cooking Style knob also.
