Sansui 2gb multimedia player san20044- wont transfer music

I have the above player and i cant transfer music from my pc using the sansui software. it says on the player the music folder is there but it is empty. i am using vista and ive noticed the os info says windows 98-xp

    I have the same problem but with Windows XP.
    The Sansui software is very cryptic. Now my PC will not even recognise the USB device.

Hi just brought same product today and same thing was happening to me.I am using vista I solved the problem by formatting the multimedia player then drag and dropped files voila it works

Seems to me that all the songs are removed, try to add a few new songs into the mp3 player from your pc and see what happens.

hey you cant use windows media player. you have to use bestbuy digital music store.

Cant put tracks on gogear as musicmatch not compatable with vista help


Try transferring with Windows Media Player instead - see if the GoGear icon appears on the left hand side of the WMP screen (while the GoGear isp lugged in). If it does, then you can transfer and delete songs through Windows Media Player.

If you have used any version of itunes to transfer 1 song, you can use yamipod. Its free and simple to use.
