How to set the clock and timer on R14A/CE remote control of CARRIER AIR CONDITRIONER

the remote does not care what time it is. The AC unit has all the unit control's and info on it. Just like a tv remote the tv has all the info on it.

Remove the battery lid, there is a TA "button" to use with a pen instead of the clock button on the remote.

On the remote control ONLY:

1 Press CLOCK/TIMER.

The hour digits start flashing on the display.

2 Press UP or DOWN to adjust

the hour, then press CLOCK/

TIMER.

The minute digits start flashing.

• When you press and hold UP or

DOWN, the hour digit changes

continuously.

3 Press UP or DOWN to adjust the

minute, then press CLOCK/TIMER.

The built-in clock starts.

• When you unplug the power cord or if a power failure occurs

The clock is reset to "AM 12:00" right away. If this happens, set

the clock again.

• The clock may gain or lose 1 to 2 minutes per month
If this happens, reset the clock.

Check batteries are fit in right position. Even with same type remote it's not working if you try, the problem is with your indoor PCB.

There are 2 systems in timer set up. You follow as per your remote supports.
1. Set clock first. and then by pressing timer on make the time you need on. and same for off by timer off.
2. Press timer on which starts with 00.00. By pressing you can select how many hours after you want to switch on from current time and same for timer off. Is it useful? Write.

Use the remote to enter the timer to switch off - OFF timer setting and the On timing after setting the clock on the remote
Once this is presetted the unit will continue to work shut of in the thermostat settings and fully cuts off power in the set off time.
later the set will come back in the set on time and work till the thermostat setting is reached.

on the back side of remote .remove the cover on battery slot and u will find a black coloured one which u have to press with pen and set time from there

My remote won't work. It will work once, maybe twice and then no response from it. New batteries, haven't dropped it, etc.. HELP !!
