Question about Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U 42 in. LCD HDTV
You can get that to work, it depends on how you are connected. On your owners manual there is a pc compatibility chart that shows you the maximum resolution you can use based on the type of cable you are using to connect to the television. You dont need to adjust anything with the television. That chart should be on page 30 of your owners manual, or close to it in the back somewhere. You have to change the resolution coming from your pc. To do this, you need to go to your control panel, and select display. There you will have a "sliding bar" so to speak you can adjust the screen resolution. (ex. 800 x 600). Adjust your resolution based on the type of cable you have, and check that chart.
