Question about Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Heater

Not warm enough

The heater is staying @ 60 even though i would like it 73 or so. I pressed temp/timer button and changed the temp to 75 but I'm still waiting for the heater to catch up, its cold in here.

My robertshaw 9620 thermostat is stuck on 70 and i can not change setting frim temp or time.

Here's how I fixed my Robertshaw thermostat that was stuck at a 70 degree reading for almost 2 monthes. When I turned on the air conditioner or heater it wouldn't stay on. I removed the cover panel and dusted off the inside which the guy at local hardware store suggested. That didn't work. Then I noticed the words "reset" right on the green circuit board on the left side. There's a very small silver button. I pressed on it and everything reset. Less than a minute later the thermostat is reading the correct room temperature. Now my air conditioner and heater are working properly.

Trying to set temp on honeywell t-stat

I believe what your experiencing is the 75 degrees is the hold temp position...the display then reverts back to the actual room temperature...it doesn't mean the set temperature changed back to 65 degrees. Try to reprogram the thermostat schedules, and try not to use the hold function...just the temporary hold. (which is bumping the programmed temperature up or down until the next programmed period)

My Honeywell thermostat won't set the heat above 75 degrees

ok fist thing is to press and hold the middle lower button and the arrow up at the same time and hold until the screen changes to a number. keep hitting next until you see 75 appear then arrow up to the temp you want and press done. That easy!

The thermostat is programed to go only up to 73 degrees but it keeps going and it starts getting really hot in the house, is soo annoying. I have to get up in the middle of the night to fix it by pressing...

If t'stat is overshooting your set temp but you can reset or otherwise shut it off, then you need to replace the t'stat. If you can't get it to shut off by resetting t'stat , then the problem could be in your heater.

Honeywell RTH230B a/c problem

if you set the thermostat on 70 and your house won't get ant cooler than 72, there is a problem with your system, not your stat. I'm thinking you are low on refrigerant if it is somewhat working. when the unit is running, if you can get your hand on the larger refrigerant line under the black insulation, it should be cold, about 55 degrees.
