SOURCE: Cold water problem

more than likely that your inlet valve is faulty it needs replacing thats the more common fault for water not going into the machine

SOURCE: machine not filling with hot water

First check the filters in the inlet hose and hot water pressure. Sounds to me like the hot water valve is faulty. Test the w/machine on a hot water cycle, if you hear a noise and its not filling it up with water, its a faulty hot water valve. Air pressure?? change the water valve and remember it has a little rubber boot on the old water valve, transfer this to the new valve,or go into option adjustment mode and change you wash temperature settings.

SOURCE: washing machine wont fill with hot water

if you pull the filter out of you (hot water) valve with a pair of long nose pliers you will see a black rubber seal. pull this rubber ring put as it acts like a restrictor.

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel Washine Machine is filling up hot and not cold?

As nice as these machines are, I've read bad things about Fisher & Paykel reliability. It sounds to me like you have a bad solenoid.

FYI, you should leave the water lines on (both hot and cold) all the time, no need to shut them off unless you're unhooking the machine to move it or work on it. The machine should control the temperature itself.

No Full Hot Water wash

the hot selection only tells the machine to turn on the house hot water to the machine
if you have it on warm , then both taps will be working
if you want a really hot water wash , there will be an element in the tub to bring it to temp
naturally an energy saver will not waste money heating hot water

You should be able to use the up/down arrow buttons labeled "Wash Temp" to select the temperature after you select the wash cycle type and before you press the start button.

Check the cold water solenoid. If a meter is not available you can swap the hot and cold wires and see if the symptom changes to hot water when cold is selected. If so the mixing valve needs replaced. If no then further testing of the wire harness and timer circuit are needed.

No warm or hot water

The easiest possibility is no hot water coming from supply,I have seen the valve turned off, input hose normaly has a filter where it attatches to the machine and they can get clogged. If neither of these solves problem just try hot valve to confirm water supply does work and if so more than likely the valve that hoses are connected to likely source of problem.

My Atlantis Oversize Capacity Washer is the problem. When I select a Warm/Cold wash the water starts out warm, then kicks into hot water. So then I have to hit the Warm/Cold button over and over as it fill...

The temp is controlled by a thermistor to make sure the warm water is warm. If the incoming cold is too cold, or the incoming hot is not hot enough, it will compensate by turning off the cold until the temp comes up, then it should turn the cold back on. Make sure the hot supply is to the hot water valve. If the hoses are backwards it won't work right either. Or you may have a bad solenoid in the water valve. It's possible for a water valve to work when it's cold, but as electricity runs through it, the solenoid heats up and causes it to open electrically which will close it mechanically and turn the water off. Usually if this is the case it won't open again for at least 10 minutes until the solenoid cools down enough.

F & P GW712 - bowl spins, but won't fill.

Read your user manual - but I would suggest that you may not have setup the balance properly. Check the level of the machine and adjust to be as square as possible by adjusting the feet at the bottom. If the water isnt coming in on both hot and cold sounds like a common problem - perhaps the water level sensor is playing up or something else has been knocked during transportation of the machine when you moved house. Check your user manual for troubleshooting. Sounds dumb, but check that 'delay start' isnt selected also. check both hoses filters are not blocked.
