Question about Samsung Yepp YP-60V 256 MB MP3 Player
My YP-60 does not turn on. My instruction booklet is in Korean and i cant read it. but from the illustration it obviously tell me to plug the power plug into the socket, but i get no reaction from the mp3. by the way, iam in china (if it has anything to do with it.) If you dont know the solution can you please just confirm if you have the same problem.
I recently bought a Chinese made multimeter and was dismayed to discover the instructions were unreadable (to me). I contacted the supplier and an English version was emailed to me very quickly.
Perhaps if you contacted the supplier or manufacturer you will find them as helpful.
Once you receive the instructions you will be be able to determine whether your Mp3 player is faulty. The link below should take you to an English manual if the Chinese internet censorship will allow it...

Seems that if you plug the device in and it cannot find a driver then you have to force the computer to look for one. Even installing the Samsung software didn't help and their website instructions doesn't tell you the name of the driver. I did the following which worked.
Right click on my computer, select properties and go for the hardware tab.Click device manager and look down the list. Somewhere you'll find a yellow warning icon next to Samsung y3 or unrecognisable device. Right click on this and go for properties then the driver tab then driver details You'll see there isn't one. Click OK and go for update driver. Click the Advanced install option and include the specific location C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers. Click OK and the computer should tell you its found an MTP device. The driver it uses if C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\wpdusb.sys. This worked for me.
