Window unit will not power on at all and throws the gfi on the power cord however a lamp pluged in the same out let works fine and the window unit works fine pluged in out in the shed and at the shop I...

If the window unit you are talking about is an air conditionner(sorry, it does not say it in the text), you must remember that an air conditionner needs far more amperage than a light or a freezer or both. Have you tried to plug the window unit alone directly into an outlet and not in a power cord? Let me know if these suggestions helped! Good luck.

Power pack light red

Hello, let's try a few things. First I would try to unplug the cables at all points. The wall, unit and power block in the middle. Reconnect and see if that helped.Be sure the unit is straight to the outlet and NOT to a surge protector or power supply or extension cord.
If not, I would try to plug the unit into another outlet somewhere. In a different room or something. Be sure the unit is straight to the outlet and NOT to a surge protector or power supply or extension cord. If that works, it's clearly the outlet in the original spot.
If none of these solutions help, if possible, see if you can borrow someone else's power supply and give it a try. If it works, then you know for sure that's all you need to replace. If it still doesn't work, you may have an internal power issue and will need a repair.
You can also find Microsoft's power supply trouble shooting guide here.
I hope this helps :D

Pops power supply fuse when I plug it in

Check to fuse box to see if the fuse is working properly. Next, see if the TV "pops" the power supply when pluged into a different outlet in a different power supply area. If the TV works without poping the fuse, the fuse with the original outlet needs replacing. If both outlets "pop", either the electrical system needs checking. Or if this is a new problem that started when you first tried the TV, the TV could be wanting more power than the electrical system will allow. Check the power requiremnets in the TV manual.

Cut battery off

If it is plugged in, and still running from the battery, you likely have a bad adapter or power jack. If you have a multimeter, set it in a range that would display 16v dc voltage, then stick the red inside the plug from the adapter, and touch the black to the outside of the plug, and see if the voltage registers (most IBM laptops use 16 volt adapters).

CRC Problem

Chances are since the system CRC1'd it has a very old BIOS revision. From version 1.10 on, the CRC issue has been fixed. So, get the latest BIOS from IBM, T21 BIOS: and flash the BIOS. Reboot the system and verify the updated BIOS. Now power down the system, desolder the known good EEPROM and resolder the CRC1 EEPROM. Boot the machine and hit ESC when the splash screen comes up and watch the post screen. The new BIOS should have recalculated the EEPROM checksum and written the changes to it. You'll know if it worked because the CRC1 error will be gone.
