SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I keep getting messages that tell me I have many errors on my computer. One company with whom I accidentally thought was you told me it was going to cost X amount to fix. Norton which is on my computer...

If your computers running OK ignore them they are after your money. If you are running Microsoft Windows do the routine maintenance once a week.Use file checker and the defrag tool
and the delete browsing history tool, also find the add and remove programs tool and remove games and programs you don`t use.But be careful and make sure you don`t remove system files. You will probably still get error messages but ignore them or do a reinstall of Windows and start afresh with a clean system.I don`t like Norton and use the free Microsoft Security Essentials program and have never had a problem.

Renewal free norton Antirus 2010.

If you only need the anti-virus component of Norton 360 (it also includes an email filter and some other components) then I would recommend a newly-available free antivirus program, see the instructions for installation here:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r5317428-actually_free_antivirus_software_windows

However, if you do need the other components of Norton 360 I would choose another paid software. You can either go online to Norton's website and download the newest version of Norton 360 here:
http://antivirus.norton.com/content/en/us/home_homeoffice/html/paid/seo02252010/SEO_Static_Option_3_Col_Radio_02252010.html?om_sem_cid=hho_sem_sy:us:ggl:en:e|kw0000004480|5995564156&om_sem_site={adcopy}
When the program tells you that it has expired five days ago there is likely a link in this window for a website at which you can renew your subscription. This is likely a cheaper alternative to buying an entire new version of Norton 360 and will do the same thing, so try following this link and paying to increase your subscription if you want the suite of security software.

Your computer will now be secured from threats again!

Internet Explorer 8 vs. Norton Protection Center

Symantec/Norton has actually done a very good thing. You can update to Norton NIS2008 for FREE.
It solves the phishing problem and is a greatly improved product. CCSVCHOST.EXE does not run continuously and there is a resource meter to show what CPU usage Norton is taking. Scans are faster and web page loading is instantaneous.

want to turn on Auto-Protect permanently
1 Start Norton AntiVirus. If Norton AntiVirus is part of Norton SystemWorks or Norton Internet Security, then start that program. 2 Click Options. 3 In the left pane, click Auto-Protect. 4 In the right pane, check Enable Auto-Protect and Start Auto-Protect when Windows starts up (recommended). 5 Under "Select the duration," select Permanently from the drop-down menu. 6 Click OK. 7 Exit Norton AntiVirus. 8 Restart the computer.

Norton AV

Hello,

I generally do not recommend Norton - however they do have a decent collection of quick programs that remove specific threats that I do reference occasionally. AVG has a decent scan rate but doesn't always remove the threat completely.

Thanks for your post!

I have norton all in 1, but im still getting security alerts not from norton, telling me i have 45 threats and telling me my anti-virus will not protect me from this threat.

Make sure that you run your antivirus as soon as possible.

If you don't run it regularly, you might be out of luck. When your computer becomes infected with a virus and you don't take care of it right away, the virus replicates. The longer the problem is unsolved, the harder it will be to remove it.

This is what I would do:

Update Norton and then run a complete scan. If Norton doesn't catch all of it then we'll try a more drastic measure.

You can go to this site: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ and us The Ultimate Boot CD to fix your problem. The ultimate boot cd gives you a ton of applications to fix a variety of problems. Many IT companies have discs similar to this. It is an amazing tool that helps out a lot.

What you'll need to do is download The Ultimate Boot CD and burn it to a CD. Afterwards put the disk back into your computer and run it from startup. From there you can run the antivirus programs that are on the disk to remove the threats.

This is ususally a more effective way of removing threats like this because it gives you several programs to remove malicious software.
