Ok try this...(there are as few things it could be but try this first)

1) Open "internet options"

2) And on the "general" tab click on "accessibility" and then make sure "NONE" of the four check boxes have checks in them.

3) Then click ok and ok again to close internet options

4) And then close all browser windows

5) And then open a new web page and see if it works now..

If that doesn’t help than let me know and ill tell you some more things to try
(But I have found that little setting to work most of the time)

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

In the bottom 1/4 of this site:
you enter the model number and you should be able to get a manual.

I'm totally surprised how many people think that answers can be given when there is NO info provide for things like the model number. Is it really that hard to just provide a little more info??

Remove favicons save photos and videos

Favicons are only tiny bits of compressed picture/icons that sit in the web links. They are there to make selection of web sites easier to see and don't affect the content of the web site.
If you download and view your pictures, you cannot see the favicons.

All my picture, videos, an icons are little white boxes i cant see any of them when i reopen internet not using google crome i can see everything is there a way to turn on graphics on google crome?

There are a few possible problems. The most likely is that somehow your images/movies, etc got turned off. Go to Options>Under the Hood>Content Settings and make sure nothing's turned off. Also, check your plugins (should be in "Under the Hood") to make sure that everything's enabled.

If it's like this only for certain sites, there might be a compatibility issue with the site using google chrome, or one of its many updates. Try following the instructions on this site to downgrade the version of Chrome. Make sure to deny the auto updates though, or it will silently upgrade and undo your work.

If neither of those options work/sound appealing to you, just use firefox or some other web browser to navigate until google chrome updates again. If you're having this issue, I guarantee others are too, so they'll come out with an update soon to take care of the issue. Good luck!

My Dell laptop running Windows 7 and is making me double click on links and things how do I get it to stop and go back to normal tried restore? Thanks

After researching the information online, I have put together a few steps to disable the Double-clicking sound(Navigation) in web browsers.

Please follow the below steps to disable the Double-clicking sound:

1) Click on the Start button on the Windows 7 menu bar.
2) From the Start menu, click on Control Panel.
On the Control Panel dialog, click on Hardware and Sound.
On the Hardware and Sound dialog, click on Change system sounds.
On the Sound dialog, use the scroll bar until you see the event titled: Start Navigation.
Click on Start Navigation.
From the Sounds dropdown select None.
Click OK.

Performing the above steps should disable the Double-clicking Sound.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to ask further questions.

None of my quick touch buttons work. HP Pavillion dv9000

My thoughts is that you may have had a Microsoft update to which has knocked out your drivers for these features. You may have to go back to HP's Web site and re-load the drivers for these two features.

I accidentally blocked out photoes on a web site, which just leaves the text on view. How can I get these photoes back When a photo came up I accidentally pressed the block button on the picture and this...

You would have disabled the images on your Browser, check out these ways to Block images in Firefox & Internet Explorer and try to Undo these steps.

In Firefox you can disable images from loading by going into the Preferences, then on the "Content" tab, uncheck the "Load images automatically" checkbox.

In Internet Explorer 7, go to Tools/"Internet Options" and then click on the "Advanced" tab. Scroll down to the "Multimedia" section and uncheck the "Show pictures" checkbox.

Both of these methods will prevent all images from being loaded automatically, while still allowing you to right-click on individual images to force them to load. This trick is also useful if you're on a slow network connection (such as a modem or GSM/cell connection) or a website with questionable images while at work.

If not read this link on how to Block images for a specific website and unblock them.
