Question about Canon PowerShot S30 Digital Camera
I would like to know how to turn off the flash on this S30 ?I dont always need a flash
Hopefully I'm not stating the obvious.... but all compact cameras have a menu system which allows you to change the various settings. Within the flash mode you will find options like ON/OFF, Auto or Manual. Might I suggest that you use the "Auto" option so that your camera will only use flash when the light is too low for it to register a photo. If you switch the flash off, you may experience the situation where the camera won't take a picture at all due to insufficient available light.
Having said all that.... should the flash still independently operate in OFF mode, then I feel you may need to take it in for repair.
Hope this helps
