Have a tp50f60 toshiba tv, blue not lined up, coolant leaked out of blue, also got coolant on hands should i be woried

Yes, the clear liquid is Glycol and it is like antifreeze but ten times more toxic. This is the reason now most landfills or dumps will not accept these type of sets for disposal.

The chemical is absorbed directly into your body via your skin.

Wash with soap and if Glycol has leaked get the set out of the house as if it gets to the bottom of the set etc a animal or small child could be harmed (I have seen it kill dogs).

Let me know if you have questions or concerns.

Remember the old VCRs, which would tear up your tape if you took it into any kind of environment that could create dew inside?

This could be happening here too. Let it warm up for a day and try again.
