Question about JVC Televison & Video
In most cases you can remove the back of the TV and get up inside the cabinet to clean the mirror. Windex works great on any glass mirror, but if it is mylar, a less harsh cleaner is better. If you have a newer digital type projection, you will likely have to go in through the screen to get to the mirror and it is much more difficult. I can instruct more depending on type and model of tv.

it's fairly easy to remove the screws on the back bottom portion of any rear-projector television. when the bottom part is removed, you will see both the mirror and the 3 lens. isopropyl alcohol or windex should do an efficient job. a soft lens rag can be found at any camera store. i'd spray the lens rag instead of the actual lens or mirror when doing this job.

SOURCE: How do you clean the mirror?
It's been a while since I faced one of these, but I believe the bezel around the screen pulls off to expose the screen mounting screws. As I recall it is held on by snap fasteners. It's also possible there is a snap-on trim strip between the screen bottom edge and the speaker grille. If that's the case, remove that to expose screws securing the bottom of the screen. Once they're out the screen swings up and off. Zenith used a couple of methods on different models.
