Hi There.
Download the latest iTunes from the Apple site and reinstall it on your PC. Go here (http://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/) and click the download button on the right. It's likely the drivers have failed or the software itself.

All the best

My ipod classic 120gb is in sync with my apple mac however it isnt recognised in my car or by my playstation 3. I have also noticed a thin white horizontal line across the display near to the top

the white line is dead pixels its what happens when a screen gets old.
iPod only connects to computer devices because you need special software to read the songs sorry

I can't remember my unlock code for ipod classic how can i reset it?

  1. Plug the iPod into the primary computer linked to that iPod, the first computer you synchronized it with unless you have designated another computer as the primary computer.
  2. Open iTunes and sync the iPod as normal.
  3. Remove the iPod, following the normal removal procedure. The iPod unlocks automatically as you remove it.

Still plays music but wont hook up with computers

Could be a problem with the logic board. It should still be under warranty so I'd take it to an apple store and let them replace it for you.
