Question about Projection Televisions
Are you asking about the "customer control" settings? If so, that's based on your preferance. I personally tell all my customer to set the brightness and picture to the lowest setting possable and still have a good picture. LCD screens may have a backlight level as well. The less you "drive" the tube or panel...no matter what kind it is....The longer the set will last you. The brightness is like a volume control on a stereo. If you have it all the way up, it makes things get hot and wears out the parts. So, in a sence...keep the volume down. This espesially true with the china imports like your coby. Once they go out, parts are unavailable to repair it. So take care of it, keep it CLEAN and keep the settings down. That's about all I can tell you. Good-luck. Also, let me know if you need more info. Just clarify what it is your looking for. The more info, the better I can help.
