You must take this machine aLMOST COMPLETELY APART TO GET AT THE CLUTCH ASSY. IT COSTS AROUND $60 OR MORE FROM A VAC SHOP. this is one of the most miserable machines out there to repair if you can find the parts
be extremely carefull tearing it down, as the parts are flimsily made, and break easily
its why a repair shop will charge you 100 to change the belt
