Hi there is no issue to loose memory.you can store it in pc if you want it .only when you reinstalled firmwareto your phone then the memory will be lost.
first transfer the current files from your old mem. card to your PC.

Spy-ware installation on blackberry cell phone

An anti-spyware app installs like any other app, but it is nearly impossible to install spyware on a blackberry without it showing in the applications list, so anti-spy-ware applications are mostly pointless. don't waste your memory or your money.

Cant save pictures says memory is full. i ahve

go to settings-Options-Status. Once in Status, click the options button and select database sizes. You will be able to see what is taking up so much space.

If all else fails you can back up the device with the desktop manager/media manager software, wipe it and restore only the data you want.

Also a good idea to by a media card to use in the device. 2GB cards are relatively inexpensive.

Hope that helps.

HELP MY MEMORY CARD IS NOT FORMATTED!

Turn your phone off and charge it fully. Call your service provider and they will permit your sim card to work.

You may need a new sim card if you have purchased a phone through someone other than your carrier. If you have ATT they will give you one.

I have a blackberry curve w/ a 2gb micro sd memory card.but i cant store or save anything to the memory card.how do i do it?

Check it first if your memory card is recognized by your unit, if not try it to insert in different phone just to check it if it is working or not.

if not then more likely it is corrupted

For some reason my BlackBerry Curve 8310 deletes all my text messages and call logs on its own. How do I fix this.

My Pearl did that. The original memory card is quite small. If you have either too many emails or photos, songs, etc. on there, it will do that to save memory.

Make a habit of deleting your emails periodically and/or get a larger memory card.

Hello - my call log and texts aren't showing on my blackberry curve 8310 - not sure if i need to change a setting?

The problem is you don't have enough free space, so the phone deletes the call log and text messages to make more room. You basically have to delete any applications you don't use. Go to this website to fix it:

After os upgrade

Login to your BIS account from website and resend your service books.

If you have not created user name then the only way you can use the interface is directly from your BB which you can not do because its not browsing inthe first place. In this case call your helpline and ask them to resend your service books.

As far as the maps is concerned, i guess you did not check it while upgrading. install just this component usingdesktop manager.

Thanks
