In order for your computer to download the games first make sure there is enough memory on your computer. Then when you put in the disc for the game go up to "my computer" this will allow you to access the cd drive which should allow you to download the games. If this doesn't work you can contact me at - Ninjam0nkey18@aim.com -

PC Monitor and Game problem

Sounds like your dedicate video card bit the dust and you're back using the onboard video, which would absolutely be the reason why things got choppy-- it can handle the demands put on it by the games.

A new dedicated video card would fix the problems.

CD is not being read on my D drive. the game 5200 great games

1 - Is the CD clean . . No scratches etc..
2 - Can you read other CDs OK..
If the answer to 2 is no - Check all the leads, and clean the Lens.
If the answer to 2 is yes... try---
Green indelible marker, all the way around the outer edge of the CD.....THE RIM
The green marker acts as a 'filter' against the red laser - this will improve the signal - marginally, but sometimes enough.

Unless you have a jump drive and high speed internet access at the library you might be able to download the patch files that way.

PROBLEM LOADING GAME

When you received the game was the box sealed? Put the CD in your cdrom. Close any windows that open. Right click once on the Start button, slide up to Explore & left click on it. Windows explorer will open. Slide down to the cdrom drive & left click on it. What ever data is on the cd will display in the right window of explorer. Look for a file named Setup.exe. Double left click on it. The game should begain to install. If you did a search online you might have been able to get it for free. This may not be the version you want but this does give you the idea of what I mean.
