I did turn setting down to 1 (normally set at ~2.5) for last couple of days, with no effect (Only one control with setting from 0 to 5 and at 5 "Super Frezze" is activated). I have turned setting to 0 about 5 hours ago but no differnce observed yet.

Thanks in advance for youe help.

Have you tried turning down the temperature for the freezer or fridge? The fridge gets its cold power from the freezer, it is siphoned into it. So turning down the freezer temp may help but a sensor may have gone bad in the motherboard of your freezer and not closing off the vent into your fridge

John Lewis Fridge Freezer - Freezer compartment is working, fridge light works, but the fridge is not working. Please help!

Leaving the freezer door open for extended period of time could have caused the evaporator to freeze up and prevent cold air being driven into refrig compartment. Unplugging it for 24 hours will give it a great chance to unfreeze. You can also check the freezer temps before you do this - bet they are no where close to the ideal of zero degrees since the ice buildup is an insulator and prevents the freezer compartment from going down to the correct temps. And if the freezer is not at least 10 degrees or less your ice maker, if you have one, will not work since it has a thermostat that only cycles the ice maker at 10 degrees or less.

Fridge of my Hotpoint FFA90 fridge-freezer freezes

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages.

Fridge compartment is freezing food/milk etc

Sir, To solve this problem, you must open the compressor area at the back bottom of the refrigerator and chek the temperature of the pressure line. If the temperature is between 55celcius to 60 than its ok. Or else you need to change the refrigerant. I suggest you to contact the service authority.

Thanks for contacting Fixya.

FRIDGE COMPARTMENT FREEZING

try this, make sure you dont have anything blocking your blower in the freezer.if that is okay if you have seperate controls for the freezer and the fridge, try setting the frige setting lower and the freezer higher, this makes the blower work more in the freezer.hope it helps.

FRIDGE COMPARTMENT FREEZING

i had the same problem the sensor starts at the back of the pcb and snakes its way dow the back of the fridge into the freezer conpartment i ordered a new sensor thinking it was a temp sensor but turned out to be a defrost sensor compleat and utter hassel to fit due to the expanding foam i had to eventualy cut the block off that conects to the pcb and then reconecting it once i got the cable through the foam first 2 days seamed to work fine while there was nothing in it as soon as i put food in it again the fridge started to freeze everything again then about a week later it still ices up at the back the fridge but doesnt seam to freeze the food so much now so still unsure about it all
btw it was the exact same model and before i changed the sensor the light and the super light used to flash on and off
