If you go here, then click on "driver" and select "USB auto connect" for your model, this will give you a model. You then install that software by opening the file. This is an old driver, but hopefully this will get you camera connecting by itself again. Good luck

Alright, so you don't have the cd that came with the camera I assume. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the manufacturer has a free copy online, but if you contact them, they should be able to email a copy to you or you can quickly purchase a copy from the following website.

How can i down load soft wear for my camera

You don't need any special software to use your camera.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Yes, go to the manufactures website and download the software there. If your camera has a memory card, you dont need the software. You can get a card reader to download the images to your computer.
