Please provide more detail. Did the black stop printing suddenly, or was the deterioration gradual. Have you tried changing the cartridge? Have you tried a head cleaning cycle and nozzle check print? If not, can you do one. What was the result? A response to these question will permit me to give you much more specific help.
what I understand is your printer is printing color but not black. How do you know that the black cartridge is not out of ink. Usualy black and color cartridges are seperate. so they run out at different times and need to be replaced at different times.
