I have a Panasonic TV model number TX 28DTX1 and i cannot get rid of the AV1 note in the top left hand corner, it dissapears when you change volume then comes back. Can you help

Sometimes you have to play around on the remote to find the right button,if you have a quit or exit button try those or if you have a input button try that.

Pressing the ident key on the remote controller will fix that. It has a toggle action. Press for on and press again for off.

Are u using HDMI/1 hook up HD box and signal?The HDMI/1 port still work?Do u use the device in the HDMI/1 port lately dose it work?Replaced the HDMI cable,Unplug the tv about an hour,plug it back in,reset it back to factory setting again.See if this work,not than ur HDMI/1 is shorted.

Had Sky installed. Displays EC1/RGB on left hand

After retuning digital tv my TX-28DTX1 BBC1 BBC2 BBC3 are missing. I have tried several times. Another tv in the house using the same aerial has found those channells.


It is a software problem with the television. I found the answer on the internet. I have contacted Panasonic for an upgrade of the software.

Av1 in top left corner cant get rid


On your remote there should be a * (star) symbol. Press that and see if it goes away now.
