We have a charmglow electric fireplace #HEF33WDG and the part that makes the "look like fire burning" stopped working. The heater works great and the lights work but the fire thing does not. I need a manuel to download. Cannot find it anywhere. Can you help?
pc I have a charmglow electric fireplace all switches light up but no heat and fake flames do not work. ideas? its on a dedicated circuit and bulbs are all good. all switches work as well. i`m guessing circuit board. where can i get that from? no owners manual

You will have to connect a 12v dc power supply to the flame motor. The controller on the board has fried. I built a regulated 12 v dc power supply and tapped it into the bulb circuit so it will power the motor when the bulbs come on. You may have to find an electrician or techie to rig this up safely.Good luck!
