Question about Computers & Internet
My Toshiba Satellite 2450's screen is dying (i.e., the light intensity flickers and then it goes black). For the past few months, I have noticed that the screen has become loose and the grey speaker case on the lefthand side is higher than the the one on the righthand side.
I would like to remove the screen to see if there is a loose connection somewhere. Could you please advise me on the best way to do this?
It appears the hinge has come loose and possibly the video and/or inverter connection. Here as a disassembly guide for a different model, I'm sure how similar it is: http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba2435/sat2435_LCD.htm
Be sure to remove the battery and check the bottom of the laptop for any screws that may secure the cover.
