There are numerous sources for these and it wuld be helpful (to you) if you would measure the fan dimensions and note the operating voltage/current on the label.
CPU fans
Also, because of the small amount of torque they have, even small dust deposits can keep them from starting.

Dixonsxp motherboard

Could be over heating - make sure fan is working and blow out dust - could also be a software problem.
At worst it's the prossesor or motherboard.

jf the fan does not work, it will really cause the laptop to get hot. let it cool down for a longer period of time before you try to power it on again, then if it boots to Windows, update its BIOS. if that does not help, you'll need to get it serviced and the fan and even motherboard may need to be replaced including other components that may have failed

This is a result of your system overheating, there are a
number of reasons for this one is that there may be
dust blocking the airway to the prossesor the
second is that your fan may not be working if so it will need replaced.

Fan makes noise

Hi:
Often the fan is noisy due to being out of balance from dust and dirt. The best way to clean it is to get it out of the laptop and vacuum off the excess and carefully clean the blades. This can be quite a job on some laptops, so no matter what, you could buy a can of compressed air, and carefully spray in the air vents on your laptop, and use a vacuum sweeper to try and **** out any dust it can get at. Make sure you use short bursts of air from the can.

All of them, as the MoBo is where the cooling fan is drawing air over the Prossesor. Experience is a plus.
