Question about SanDisk Sansa e270 MP3 Player

Transferring a voice recording

I've can't move, copy or even play a couple of my voice recordings that I've recorded with my Sansa onto my computer. When I tried to move it it says that the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable yet I can still listen to it on my Sansa also all my future recordings seem to be copied over just fine. The difference is I pressed the record button on the side when I recorded these particular files whilst I accessed the main menu for the rest of other voice recordings. Is there no way I can save these files at all? :(

^^ Nevermind I found the solution myself! I switched the USB mode setting to MTP. It's been copied and moved over now. Sorry!

Sorry I solved this one myself but I'll put the solution for anyone that has a similar problem. Check your USB mode and switch it to MTP in order to transfer the file.

How do i play back a recording i've made? I have the Sansa m200 series MP3 Player

To play back a voice recording, you will need to do the following steps after turning on the player. Press Power/Menu briefly to get the software menu. Press the Repeat/A-B/Down button to highlight the line Play Music and press Select to enter the play back sub-menu. Press the Down button again to go to the line Recordings and press Select again. Use the Down button to highlight a particular voice recording and press Select to start playing the recording.

The manual for the Sansa M200 MP3 player is available as a PDF from the manufacturer here: . The details for playing back a Voice Recording are on page 23-24 (24-25 of the PDF). You will need Adobe Reader or a similar program to read the manual.

I hope this helps.

I have a RCA VR5320R digital voice recorder. My voice recordings are stored on the recorder, under folder "A," but when I attach the recorder to my computer, eventhough the device shows up under...

Your best bet is to play the recordings through the headphone connector to a pc audio line-in connector and capture the audio using something like Audacity. Then output them using audacity to mp3 to play on your mp3 player.

These units are notorious for their failing USB feature.

Can't upload voice recording from creative zen

So I had that same issue but then i found the solution while playing with it. if you connect your zen to the computer, open up my computer and find the zen icon. click on it and go until you find the "my recordings" folder. click the folder and you should see all your recordings. right click the one you want to copy and click "copy". then open a folder in your computer and click "paste" and it works!

Dowloading audio files onto my computer..

I have an Olympus recorder. I don't know if the software is similar but their software has a way of copying the files to folders in the software. These files can then be used in other audio programs such as ITunes if you want to transfer it to your Ipod or audio recording software so that you can drag and drop them into one file.

If you look in the folder where your voice manage software is, is there a folder where the audio files are being stored within the program?
