Question about Sony SNCRZ25N Network Camera Snc RZ25N

1 Answer

Can't Transfer image to FTP site

I am setting up a Sony SNC-RZ25N for a weather camera for a tv station. I am taking a picture every 10 seconds, posting it to an FTP site, but getting the following message from the system log of the camera.
' 2008-12-06 Sat 08:39:43 : [FTP client] Unexpected error occurred during FTP client operation.(stor) '

Not sure what the "(stor)" means at the end of the entry. Are my security and permission settings on the FTP site wrong? If so, how should they be set up?

"STOR" is FTP lingo for storing (putting/uploading) the file onto the server. I'm presuming you have entered the appropriate FTP IP address, login and password and the FTP server is setup properly.

Presuming the FTP server is set up correctly, connect your computer to the same cable the Sony IP camera is connected to and use an FTP client from your computer to confirm you can successfully upload files.

If you do not have an FTP client, you can download a free one at:

The yellow cable goes to your video in on the tv
The red rca cable goes to audio in on tv.
Select the video1 or 2 on tv to get picture.https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/00/00/03/25/09/78/325097870.pdf

I need installation manual for SNC-DM160 IP Camera

Go to http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/product-SNCDM160/ and then you'll see the Orange Tab/Button that says "Resources". Click on that and you will see the manuals available for download.

If you can't open the .PDF files, you can get Adobe Reader at http://www.adobe.com

I hope this helps :)
