My camera has been working fine, then all of a sudden it died. Changed batteries and nothing, so I even had the batteries tested and still nothing. What can I do, or where do I take the camera?
My camera won't turn on. I've changed the batteries, but still nothing. If the camera has died I want to get the film out to have it processed. What's the best way to do this.
I've already replaced the batteries, and unless I'm mistaken, I see no AC adaptor on an N75...its not digital.....has anyone figured out a solution for this?

1. Check batteries. 2. Connect camera to an AC adapter. 3. Remove all batteries, disconnect AC adapter, wait a minute, reinsert batteries and reconnect adapter. Turn on camera.

Go into a very dark room and open the film loading door slightly, then close it. If you hear the motor wind the film, then all is well. This may unjam the mechanism and get it going again. Try it now. The current and adjacent frames may come out foggy if too much light enters the camera.

If you use rechargeable batteries, make sure they are freshly recharged. If they have been sitting for a while, even just a couple of weeks, they may have discharged. Also, some new rechargeable batteries need charging before use.

I had the same problem. I found that I had a roll of film inside but not wound to the other side. I put a new roll in, after the camera wound the film to the other side it was fine. I think this will also happen if you don not have a roll of film loaded.

The contax rts3 has a dc/dc convertor. when this integrated circuit fails, camera will not power up, even though it worked yesterday. the ideal solution is to replace the ic; the quick & dirty fix is to connect the camera power to an external regulated supply. after being connected for a couple of days, the camera will resume working. NEVER remove batteries for more than 10 minutes from now on.

My Nikon N70 35mm SLR does not turn on with new batteries. I have not used the camera for a couple years but I have kept it at room temperature in a camera bag. Nothing turns on and I have tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in.
I changed the battery and now it wont do anything, all it does is show the battery status, then it blinks and in the space were it shows the number of pictures taken, it shows " 54" does anyone know what this means? please help!
Was in the middle of a roll of film when after taking a picture, the film did not advance and in the screen where it tells you how many pictures you have taken, an E is flashing. Bought new battery - this did not help. Then also put in a new roll of film and the E is still flashing and film would not advance.
I printed the first set of film which was not clear nor sharp the pictures were very hazy.
I put a new film pressed the shutter release button but it did not return and the lens cover swich is stuck, I can't get the switch to move.
I bought the camera less than a week ago.
I've tried reloading took to Asda were I bought to see if I put the film in right was told I had and that it's gone bad.
I have the same problem. Mine is new and when I first got it, I placed the batteries in and it turned on, which I knew from the orange indicator light and the sound it would make powering up.
The first time I used it, it was doing the same, though I can't particularly remember if I actually saw a flash. Throughout the same night, it stopped turning on- no light, no sound. So I figured maybe I somehow drained the batteries.
I replaced them, and even with new batteries, the indicator light did not come on and I could not hear the camera powering up.
Recently bought Nikon FE camera. I bought new batteries for it, and and inserted them. When i turn the power switch on, a red light shows, and then shuts off when I release the power switch. Any suggestions?
