Nds extension file

.Nds files are Nintendo DS games. To play them you will need to download a DS emulator over the internet, and then open the file using the emulator. Do not play .Nds files for games that you do not own. That is illegal.

How do I unzip a .nds file and a .war file before

You can not really unzip a .nds file as that its the game file itself. That's the format of the DS games.

How to put the nds download games in memory card, and in my NDS?

put your mem card in the computer and format the card to fat not fat32.

if you got a software disc with it put the files on to the micro sd card if you didnt then download files from r4s web site and put these on the micro sd card.

then download the nds files from the web (make sure they are ***.nds not zip files) then just put them on to the mem card. insert the mem card in to your r4 and happy playing.

when i say put them on you can drag and drop file or right click and the send them to your mem card.

Transfer the DS games

Download these things: DLDI patcher - http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=81 NDS Backup Tool Wifi 0.31f - http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=2719 Filezilla https://www.ohloh.net/projects/filezilla/download?filename=FileZilla_3.2.6_win32-setup.exe
--First time only--
Install Filezilla. Now unzip the DLDI patcher's ZIP into a new folder. Unzip the NDS Backup Tool ZIP into another folder. Open up the NDS_Backup_Tool_Wifi.ini file and change the IP address of the DS if necessary (if unsure, leave as is and change it to 192.168.1.10 or 192.168.2.10 if it doesn't work) Open up the DLDI patcher, drag and drop the NDS_Backup_Tool_Wifi.nds file onto the patcher and then select R4DS (Revolution for DS) from the drop-down menu. Then, copy over the NDS_Backup_Tool_Wifi.nds file and the NDS_Backup_Tool_Wifi.ini file to your R4's memory card (location doesn't matter).
--After doing the above--
Run the tool and follow its instructions. When you have followed its instructions and you need to get the game sent to your PC, open up Filezilla then type in the following: Server: 192.168.*.10 (whatever you chose) Port: 21 (default) Username: anonymous Connect, then look for your NDS file and save it to wherever you want. Wait for the transfer to complete, then close Filezilla and restart your DS with your R4 inside. Repeat for each game.

On gta chinatown wars it says save data cannot be acsesed please turn he ds off and reinsert the ds card

patch GTA using dslazy.

Small gui to some NDS utilities.

- get nds file info using ndstool.exe
- append a file to ndsloader.bin
- apply ndspatcher.exe to a nds
- grep for bricker code in .nds
- trim blank space out of a rom
- unpack and repack a nds using ndstool

extract to somewhere eg C:/ds/dslazy
run dslazy.exe
select a nds file(which is GTA right?) by hitting the "..." button.
get the rom info by clicking the [?]
hit the desired patch button
select where you want the new file to be if appropriate..

Unpack the said nds file(GTA)
search ARM7 download on Google, and DL it
then paste it on the unpack nds files which is on your ds lazy folder "NDS_UNPACK folder" overwrite if ask. Then repack it save the repack nds file wherever you want and your done copy the patch GTA on your SD card. If you don't get it try searching ARM7 patching on google.

How to open .nds file...

.nds files are Nintendo DS image (usually are from NDS games or homebrew). you need an Nintendo DS and a NDS Flashcart (i.e. M3 Adapter, Super Card, M3 Simply, R4 DS, etc.).This files can be open on an Emulator (i.e. iDeaS, ndsemu, no$gba, etc) but the games don't play successful as sometimes the emulator crash. So it's better to use the file on a Nintendo DS. Source(s): http://m3adapter.com

I want to find a step by step guide to putting games on Micro cards and playing on ds

1. Download the system file in .zip format from the manufacturers web site (or find the CD that came with the card)
1a. Click on the .zip file to open up the contents.
2. Plug in the memory card to the USB port on the computer using the adaptor provided.
3. Copy the contents of the newly opened window (or the files from the CD) on to the memory card.
4. Search the internet and find the games you want (they will be .zip files too so double click on them once they're on your computer and you'll see what's in them). If you don't know where to find them just search Google for "NDS ROMS"
5. Copy the files that end .nds to the memory card attached to the USB port.
6. Unplug the memory card from the PC.
7. Plug the memory card back into the game adaptor.
8. Plug the game adaptor into the NDS.
9. Switch on the NDS and enjoy.
