Question about Rangemaster Classic 90 (Electric) Kitchen Range

Open Question

Classic 90 (Leisure) cooker. The oven igniter does not work.

I have had this cooker for about 5 years. The igniter of the oven does not work . I feel a good service might sort the problem, but I would like to know how much will this cost? Any ideas?

Hi
Just to say we sorted the problem. Simply the bulb was out in the one oven. We replaced this and problem solved.

Regardless of the clock running, if the timer is not set to zero and off, the oven will not function. See my instructions on using the timer (http://www.fixya.com/support/t1416237-timer_instructions_rangemaster_toledo) I hope that this is your problem and it will show you how to get the oven going again.

SOURCE: both ovens on my leisure rangemaster 100 will not come on

I have a range master cooker, where both ovens do not work, because the clock/timer is not working, but if I switch the griddle/grill on for approx 1 hour everything works fine!! The clock starts flashing, i press reset & switch the ovens on! Once the griddle has cooled down, you have to start the entire process again the following day! This appears to be a vary common fault.

Check for voltage at the element, could be a hi-limit thermostat or a failure at the control board.... You may find you are missing one leg (half) of the 240VAC required to power the elements
