Error-Code 116-330 we have a workcentre M24, my message is 116-330. First step was sending a job by the internetportal, the job was no prn-file for this maschine, seems it was a prn-file for an acrobat-file. After sending, all new print-jobs get canceled in the printer. In a service-call, we got advise to push the "4" +"energy-safe" + "stop", because of inefficacy, we got advice to push "3" +"energy-safe" + "stop". The procedur failed, the machine now totaly fails with error message 116-330. Last advice of the service: change of Mainboard and Harddisk with cost of about 4.500 ?. This can't be a solution.

116-330: The Hard Drive has failed...I'm sorry to have to tell you that is a hard fail and there is no resurrection for this Lazarus!

You should have the proper software to send .prn to print.
try downloading from www.nicelabel.cl a Suite version of the software. It's a 3 step setup.

Xerox Workcentre M24 Color Copier - Keeps giving me an error to close the duplex door. I've closed it, and it seems to be all in good order, but the message will not go away. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi. I have a workcentre m24 and on start up it says switch machine off then on, if problem persists call support. the error code is 116-201


Try this: 1. Turn machine off 2. After it has completely powered down, unplug the power cord from the wall. 3. Go back to the front of the machine and turn it on and then back off again (remembering to leave it UNPLUGGED from power.) 4. WAIT 60 SECONDS (Very important) 5. AFTER 60 seconds plug it back into the wall and turn it back on.
If problem persists call for service.

WorkCentre M24 is ticking me the error code 010-398


You have a bad fuser fan. Xerox part number 127K29340. Located on the back of the machine. Very common problem. Look up on google a business called the parts drop.
They will have it.

Solution : Power OFF the Printer, Wait 45 Seconds, Then Power ON CAUTION: If the machine is powered OFF / powered ON, all information that is stored in the machine's memory may be erased.
NOTE: Before powering OFF, make sure that all copy or print jobs have completely finished. Never power OFF in the following instances:
  • While data is being received.
  • While jobs are being printed.
  • While jobs are being copied.
  • While a scan is being executed.
  1. Power OFF the machine. The power switch is located on the front right side of the machine under the Control Panel.

    NOTE: Before the machine is powered ON again make sure the Touch Screen is blank.

  2. Power ON the machine.

    NOTE: When the power is ON, a 'Please wait...' message will be displayed. This message indicates that the machine is warming up and cannot be used. After 45 seconds, the machine becomes ready for use.

    If the issue is not resolved repeat steps 1 and 2 a second time.

The automatic document feeder can't figure out what size the paper is, probably a bad sensor, but inspect it first.

It may be a bad input tray 050K36410 or sensor 130E80890 or board 160K83080

Error code 016 781


The 016-783 error message indicates that “Cause – Could not find the specified server path during file”.
The folder that the Xerox scanner job template uses to deposit the scans in had previously been deleted, so I had recreated the shared network folder. What I had neglected to do though was to recreate the sub-folders that the Xerox Job Templates use for the scans.
After recreating the subfolders that the file repository setup referenced in the job template I had no more error codes with that scanning job template.

Sounds to me like you need a drum or one of the other routine maintenance items.
The way to find out is to press your machine status button, then look under supplies. You will probably find that a drum life has expired, the IBT cleaning roll or fuser life have expired.
I am sure if you look there one of those "supply" items has reached its end of life.
In the same area under the machine status , there is also a section there for active messages and fault codes. Make sure you look there. If you have additional questions please ask.
