Question about Sony Xplod XM-554ZR Car Audio Amplifier
HI I HAVE A SONY CDX-S2200 WHEN I STORE RADIO STAIONS ON THE CAR AND THEN TURN THE CAR OFF AND THEN TURN THE CAR ON AGAIN THEY HAVE GONE CAN YOU HELP THANKS MR BARCLAY
There is a yellow wire (on most head units) that must have constant power. This means it must be powered at all times, even when the keys is off or out of the ignition. It is located on the back of the head unit and can be hooked to a fused constant 12v power supply such as clock, some cig. lighters, etc.

This is simple the memory wire (yellow) is connect incorrectly. It needs 12 volt constant or continously. meaning 12 volts even when the car is off.
