G'day
I had the same problem. With the help of a friend of mine we carefully pulled apart the dishwasher until we got to the pump.
In this location we found a small piece of white plastic had appeared (about one quarter the size of a 5 cent piece) and this was obviously stopping the impeller blade from spinning.
Once this tiny piece of plastic was removed and the dishwasher was reassembled, it now works like a dream.
Hope this helps someone else.
PS. a normal handyman/girl can do this, just take your time and carefully pull it apart, loosen the bottom, flip it over - so that the base unit can be assessed and then you can assess the pump and whatever problem lies within.

Did the owner of the LG LD-14aw2 that was giving the OE error get the problem resolved?
With an OE (Drain Error), it means that the dishwasher is not fully drained out in spite of 5 min. drain operation. First step of the trace the entire path of the drain hose to the sink drain. Be certain that ther is no blockage in any of it.
It that does not resolve the problem, remove the lower spray arm and the screws that hold the sump area down. Open up the area and inspect everywhere for debris that could be blocking the drain area.
Next step would be to replace the drain motor.
With the LG dishwasher that is giving an IE error: Double check that the water valve supplying the dishwasher is fully open. Next, with the water turned off, open the connection between the inlet pipe (hot water) and the dishwasher inlet valve. Clean the screen of all debris/minerals that often build up there.
If problems continue, check and replace the inlet valve.
Thanks for reporting back what you have found. Good Luck!

Error code 0E on LG WM1290 FHB ?

The error code 0E stands for obstruction error, meaning that the drain line is obstructed. This is why the spin fails as all the water is not being drained. Check the drain hose for kinks and clean the drain filter. If they are not the problem, there could still be an obstruction in the drain hose in or about the drain pump.

My LG dishwasher counter doesn't count down

Since you didn't give the model number, I looked at a general user manual for an LG dishwasher. It suggested that if the water is cold, it would take longer to wash the dishes. That suggests to me that a cold water temperature might prevent the timer from starting till the desired temp is reached. Could that be the problem? Could it be connected to a cold water supply rather than hot? Is the hot water set too low?

Error code 0E

OE is OUTLET ERROR.
More often than not, a blockage is in the pump(not that easy to get to and quite a long step by step process)
You might also find the blockage at the end of the drain hose, where it connects to the drain pipe- remove the hose clamp and inspect hose and spigot.

Have a 2+year old LG LDF6810ST dishwasher that shows no error codes but is not cleaning like it used to. Have city water, do not leave excess food on dishes when loading, am only using powder after...

Try these things in order:

-Try to use a name brand powder, rather then a generic. Even a small box. I had similar problems with my LG dishwasher when I tried to save money by buying a generic powder. My dishes did not get clean and white marks were left behind on my stainless steel DW liner and the dishes. When you ad the powder, do not over fill the dispenser. Add less than the full dispenser cup and close it. Place some powder in that shallow square indent on the dispenser lid to help the pre-wash cycle. Also, run the water in the sink until hot water runs immediately before you start the DW.

-If, after using Electrosol or Cascade for 2 - 3 loads and your dishes do not come out clean, then I would run a load of dishes without adding the soap. Start the dishwasher and wait for it to fill and begin to wash. Open the door and add one cup of vinegar (white vinegar is fine.) Feel free to ad another cup after the first wash water drains and the second wash water enters and the DW begins the wash cycle again. Run a load of dirty dishes with the soap and check for good cleaning.

-If the problems continue, it is time to remove the filter assembly by removing the 9 silver phillips screws from the filter assembly. You will also need to remove the lower sprayer arm by pulling straight up and then out. With a flashlight, inspect the sump area that was hidden by the filter assembly, looking for any debris that has jammed into anywhere down there. Watch out for broken glass as you feel around. Reassemble and test with a load of dirty dishes.

The poor drying may be caused by not keeping the rinse aid re-filled. Check that first.

Also, these water and energy conserving dishwashers actually use the "dirt" from the dirty dishes to help clean the dishes during the first two wash cycles. Simply clear the big chunks off the dishes and put the dishes in the DW.

Please report back what you find or if you have more questions. OK?

Mold growing on dishes

Recommend that you run another cycle with no DW soap aded, waiting until the dishwasher has filled with hot water and begins to do the first wash cycle. Then add 1/2 cup of bleach to the water and close the door. Allow the cycle to finish. Run it normally with a standard load of dirty dishes. Note: These high efficiency dishwashers count on the "dirt" of the dirty dishes to help wash/clean the dishes. Recommend you not rinse/wash the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher.

Watch for any occurrence of the black dots and repeat the bleach treatment.
