Question about Toshiba Satellite M100 Notebook
Dear Sir,
I am experiencing irregular power supply to my toshiba laptop. The battery will not fully charge even after plugging to the main power supply. Worst of all, the laptop has become very unpredictable and will shut down even though it is connected to the main power socket. but after a couple of hours, or even days, it comes back on again when I plug it in. How can I check whether the problem is linked to the battery or the power adapter or the motherboard? Thank you.
If you can easily access the memory module on your laptop, kindly remove it for a while, swipe the bronze stripes contact, and put it back again into it slots.
just let me know

I have tried your suggestion and the problem persists. I have even plug in the laptop direct to the main power supply without the battery and the same problem happen - it boots up but after a while, goes off again. I suspect the main problem could lie in the power supply adapter. I just disconnected the power cable from the adapter and reconnected it - the laptop power indicator turns on again. How can I check whether the power adaptor is working properly? My laptop battery is more than 2 years old.
yeah...i also do have the same problem, my laptop is 3years old, it suddenly shuts off even tho the power is connected, i tried to take out the ram and put it in again still i have the problem is it something to do with the motherboard cause this toshiba heat rate is much greater than any other laptop.......plz advice....
