Ok I am noticing this laptop is a dv9000 and based on the little bit of information I was getting it is sounding like you are having the common problem. My question is; does your laptop have an AMD processor in it or an Intel? HP has a free repair for the dv9000 with an AMD processor. Check this site out and if this does not fit your situation please add on to your problem so i can understand.
They will list all the models covered for repair and if it is one of them the repair is free(shipping and service).

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
